Education...

My sister has entered her 11th year of teaching this year and she has taught a broad variety of subjects. I think this is her favorite year-teaching the first grade. She has such a passion for it. This weekend we went home and she was talking about random things that had happened in the past week. One of the things, they were at the reading circle and this little boy was working on the "sh" sounds. He kept looking at the word "shhhh" "shh" "shhhhit" "OH NO!" She said his eyes got huge and he said I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that! Then she said the worst part is that she has to write down what they say. He said it, so she had to write it! Poor little boy I bet he was terrified of getting in trouble when he got home that night!

That excites me! I am so interested in teaching, so much so that I'm looking into it further. I can obtain my elem. education degree about one mile from my house. So why not? ugghhh the thought of going back to school doesn't excite me. So we will see I have till Jan. to decide.
Being an adult stinks sometimes!

Of course the final verdict on my husband's job is a factor in this. We were told it could take up to 3 months before we know anything. But if he is called back then that is the final callback-an interview! So everything is crossed that he is called back!!!
