All kinds of updates...

First off I finished my scarf!!! Pictures later once I go to class tomorrow night and she shows us how to finish off the edges. This is ALL I done on the weekend just to try to finish it. I was convinced I wouldn't finish it but I did!!! I'm so proud of myself.

Second~ my mother's dr appointment on Friday. He put her in a back brace and said that if she didn't follow his directions to the letter she could be pararlyzed. Now he may have been trying to scare her into following his directions or he may have been telling the truth but whatever it was it worked! She has to be off work for 12 weeks and she is scared to death. She can only lay flat on her back and walk about very little. She can't drive, can't ride, and can't pick anything up over 5 lbs. So many prayers are needed for her.

Third~ my fertility appointment. I had the days mixed up on my other blog post. Anyways it was this morning at 10am. He believes that I don't ovulate and that I may have PCOS. So he put me on 50mg of clomid. I'm currently on CD3 so I am to take Clomid for the next 5 days then on CD11 I start using ovulation predictor tests to detect my LH surge. Then on CD21 I go back in to have a progesterone blood test taken I guess to see if I did indeed ovulate. I told him that my old OB/GYN told me I was "normal" He said you are normal you just don't ovulate so we need to get that taken care of. I asked if my husband was normal and he said "if his 2nd round of SA results were like his 1st round then we would go straight to IVF but SA can change from one test to another so we will try to get you to ovulate and then go from there" If the 50mg doesn't work then we will up it, if that doesn't work then we will up it again. Then we will move onto insemination. But for right now we are going to work on getting me to ovulate and I have to lose 10lbs. He asked what we could cut out of my diet and there really is nothing I can cut out b/c I'm trying to lose weight and exercising but the weight is just not coming off! So I will try harder and pray that it's in the Lord's plan for us to get pregnant.
So there's the update :D

A girl I know just got pregnant by taking clomid, and in the office they would take his good semen and shoot it in her to help it get where it was supposed to go, but it wasn't in vitro. I can't remember what they called it. I think they had to do it about 4 times, then it took. Sounds like you are on the right track with this doctor.

Well it's good that you know what the problem is now. I have PCOS, I took clomid and all other drugs with it....It will happen when you least expect it. Thats when it happened for us. Keep us posted.

Melissa- It's IUI or insemination. They think they may have to do that to us as my husbands test results weren't that great. So we will try me first then if that doesn't fix it then we move on to my husband.
