Getting there...

I've started working on my 101 in 1001 list!
So far I have had an appointment with my dermatologist to work on obtaining clear skin #9 he told me that I can try some different types of creams but the best solution is going back on BCP. And oh I can't wait! My skin was awesome on BCP. But that brings me to another goal becoming a mother #29. I made an appointment with a RE (fertility specialist) I go in October.
#63 Learn how to knit. I signed up for a class on Saturday. October 15 and 22nd are my classes 5:30-7:30pm.
#80 Obtain a library card. I done that on Saturday as well!!!
#7 Run a 5K. We have already signed up to compete in one at the end of October but we are preparing it 3X a week now. Yesterday I done 2 miles in 25minutes, so I'm getting there. I jogged for 20 minutes straight though, I just KNEW I wasn't going to be able to do it but I done it! I have never been able to do something like that. I have asthma and it's pretty bad so it prevents me from doing things like that but I am so proud that I was able to do that! Now if I can get my calfs to stop hurting I would be good to go!

This is fun to try to accomplish. My mother said "you better do those things now b/c once you have kids you won't be able to do them" And while I somewhat agree with her, I diagree as well. I plan to teach my children how to do my hobbies. I wish someone would have taught me how to knit, so I plan to teach my children. I wish my parents would have taken us to the park to run and ride bikes and maybe I wouldn't have been so overweight. So I plan to do that with my chilren. My parents were/are good parents but I've also learned several things that I plan to do differently with my children.

It was a good weekend and I got so many things accomplish. Oh and yesterday we went to see the movie Fireproof. It's a Christian movie with such a powerful message. I cried, my husband cried, the big tough strong man beside me cried. It was great. The married couple in front of us kissed at the end of the movie. It was so inspiring and I highly recommend it for married couples!
